General information

This year the traditional conference on the Physics of Non-Ideal Plasmas (PNP) is held in Almaty, the former capital of Kazakhstan, located at the foot of the beautiful mountains of Zailiiskii Alatau. The city is a scientific and cultural center of the country and provides a whole variety of opportunities for leisure, entertainment and amusement. Nearby immediate outdoors are the prominent Medeo skating rink, Chimbulak ski resort and Kok Tobe mountain park, which offers the best view over the city.
